Becca is a Minnesota lover whose journey has taken her from the Midwest to California, Mexico, New York City, and back again. She now lives in Minneapolis, where she practices as a pediatric psychiatrist and co-manages the wonderfully busy lives of her four children with her partner.

 

She is excited to finally bring her fiction into the world, beginning with The Dala Horse Daughters in November 2026, with several more novels to follow. Her creative nonfiction has appeared in Intima, Pulse, Evening Street, and Months to Years. She is also the creator of Next Draft, a digital publication and community dedicated to personal growth and the stories that shape us.

When she isn't writing—or drinking far too much coffee—you'll likely find her running through Minnesota's seasons or paddleboarding one of the city's many lakes.
